PF2e Combat Calculator - Hit Chance & DPR
Find out whether that third attack is worth taking. This Pathfinder 2e damage calculator gives you hit chance, crit chance, and DPR for every Strike in a round, with the Multiple Attack Penalty applied as you go and agile weapons handled separately. Spoiler: at -10 against a level-appropriate AC, the third Strike usually is not.

PF2e Strike Degree Rules
Critical Hit: Roll result ≥ AC + 10 (or natural 20 that hits) → double damage
Hit: Roll result ≥ AC → normal damage
Miss: Roll result below AC → no damage
Critical Failure: Roll result ≤ AC − 10 (or natural 1 that misses) → no damage
Natural 20 upgrades result by one degree; natural 1 downgrades by one degree.
MAP: Multiple Attack Penalty applies to 2nd and 3rd strikes in a round.
How Strike Math Works in Pathfinder 2e
Every Strike is a d20 roll plus your attack bonus against the target's AC, resolved on the four degrees of success. You hit if the total meets or beats AC, and you critically hit if it beats AC by 10 or more. Rolling a natural 20 improves the result one degree, and a natural 1 worsens it one degree — so a natural 20 on a roll that would only have hit becomes a critical hit, and a natural 20 that would have missed is merely a hit.
This is why the crit-fishing math in PF2e is so sensitive to a single point of bonus. Because crits come from beating AC by 10 rather than from the die face alone, every +1 you gain (or every −1 you impose on the enemy's AC) adds roughly 5% hit chance and roughly 5% crit chance at the same time. A flanking bonus is worth far more here than the raw +2 suggests.
Multiple Attack Penalty. Your second Strike in a turn takes −5 and your third takes −10. Agile weapons reduce that to −4 and −8. Against a level-appropriate target, the third Strike usually lands somewhere around a 15–20% chance to hit with almost no chance to crit, which is why experienced players spend that third action on Raise a Shield, Demoralize, Stride, or a debuff instead of swinging again. Run the numbers above for your own attack bonus and you can see exactly where that crossover sits for your character.
Expected damage. A critical hit in Pathfinder 2e doubles the total damage of the Strike, not just the dice. The calculator combines hit chance, crit chance, and your damage expression into an average damage per Strike, so you can compare two weapons or two feat choices honestly instead of comparing their best-case rolls.
